Here’s a Surprise for you!

This is not a standard page in my blog.  In fact it only shows up once in a while
when I’m being frisky and handing out freebie digi-toys.  This go around I have TWO goodies to share!

Don’t delay - because these surprise goodies are only available for a limited amount of time! Download my surprises by using the links provided just above the pictured item.

Grab up the Digital Quick Pages for digi-scrapper, created using Rick’s “Home Digital Kit”. Rick is a new digi-designer over at http://scrapadilly.net .  He granted me permissions to use his kit to create these quick pages and share them with you all!  Isn’t he just the best?! You can grab up his full kit in the Scrapadilly store.  Jump over there now to see what’s new!

>>>>  Download these Quick Pages Using this Link!

And here’s the second one…

>>>> Download my Bonus Embellishment Pack!

Thanks Rick for letting me play with your kit and for permissioning me to share some QP’s with other digi-scrappers!

Hey everyone - have fun digi-creating!

    Hallo!
I am using Creating Keepsakes scrapbook designer. I can not seem to crop our the embelishments like the heart or slide mount frame. What could be the problem? Any idea?
Or is it just me :)

Trishadeb, I don’t have that particular software product. So I’m not familar with the ins and outs of it. However I can tell you that depending on the version you own, it does have copy/paste capabilities for transparent png files.

No being able to direct you to the appropriate buttons in that software will definitely be and hendrence here. I’m not sure either what level of scrapper you are. I’ll assume you are in the early stages of the learning curve here and try to explain it from the most basic level.

The following steps are the very basic “copy and paste” actions I recommend you try for starters. These actions work in a similar fashion in every digital scrapbooking software package I’ve seen:

    – Use whatever selection tools they offer you to draw around the shape.
    – Then use the ‘copy’ command, usually found under some type of ‘edit’ menu in most products. This will place a copy of the object onto your clipboard (it’s invisible, so you won’t see this copy anywhere).
    – Then go back to the layout where you want to place your element and use the ‘Paste’ command (also usually under an ‘edit’ menu or sometimes under a ’selections’ menu). In theory, that should insert your element into your layout.
    – Then you should be able to move it around and place it where you actually want it.

I hope this helps! Please let me know how it goes. If my instructions still don’t do the trick for you, I’ll track down that specific piece of software and create some screen clips for ya.

actually i have done the copy-paste-crop sequence. But still no success. Anyway will try again in another computer, since this is the first time that i was not able to manipulate photos with that software. Thanks for the time. Will always visit your site.

trishadeb: I have the CK S/designer program and have to use my photo program to crop some images with it before I can use it in the CK program. Hope this helps in using all the items you want. Judyb..a new digi scrapper now that I got the CK S/designer program.
