I posted the following message on CHW this morning after I finally got back on the site again.  For any of our members who still aren’t able to access the site, please hang loose for a while.  It may be a day or two before you can get back in.  I’m sorry!  :(

Here’s the technical version of what’s going on with the servers right now.

1.  When the site was switched over to the new server, they neglected to make a change on the DSN that was required.  That has been resolved.

2.  However, Internet Service Providers (ISP) update their domain listings on a rotating basis.  So while my ISP may update daily or even every 4 hours… someone elses ISP may not update but every two days.  In which case, you (the users) won’t see the change and be able to access the site, until after your provider’s cycle happens again.

3.  For example, when I connect through the ISP we use at work, I’m able to access the site already.  But my ISP at home, hasn’t run their cycle yet.  So my computer at home is still only seeing the old domain location.

This is one of those time when having patience is about all we can do.  I apologize for the delays and the hassles!  Sure wish this was something I had control of.  But unfortunately I don’t, my friends.  If you are still hearing about members who can’t access by tomorrow at noon – could you please let me know?  Thanks so very much!

Since my email server hasn’t rolled over yet, I can’t send/recieve emails from crafthappy.  That’s the reason I’m posting this message here – hoping some of our members will see it and pass the word along to others.
